“The issue of energy has become extremely polarized, and, there are two distinct sides, and they don’t like interacting with each other at all," Kallenberg said in an interview. "If nothing else, I want the viewer to walk out of there with questions, with a need to go get more information. The people from the extreme sides don’t want to inform themselves as to what the rational middle side of this is.”
Kallenberg says each side needs to be better informed about the natural gas drilling process and be willing make sacrifices for important economic and environmental needs. The filmmaker will be in Little Rock this Thursday for a special screening of his documentary. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Clinton Presidential Library.
